Hi, I am the team leader and presenter of the radio show, “That’s Entertainment and Dancing through the Decades.” Outside of my shows, I have 25 years of experience in theatre and 20 years in dance.
What are my shows all about?
In my shows, I get the opportunity to talk all about my hobbies and interests, which are theatre and dance. In “That’s Entertainment,” I talked all about history and the different styles of theatre. I keep listeners up to date with the latest theatre auditions and events happening around Perth. I enjoy spending some time reviewing shows and interviewing certain reviewers on my show. One of my favourite shows to review is “When You’re Good to Mama,” a Chicago musical by Queen Latifah and Taye Diggs in the 1920s.
In “Dancing through the Decades,” I enjoy playing a range of different music genres, ranging from musicals, jazz, tap, and classical music, paired up with discussions of various dance types.
What made you volunteer at IPL?
I have been with IPL for three years, and my journey with them has been amazing. Thanks to Trys and fellow members, IPL has become my family and second home. Especially in times of trouble, IPL provides me the same level of familial support and music (therapy for me). Throughout the years, IPL has also allowed me to showcase my creativity in planning, organising, and designing events.
